With its themes of renewal, light, and nature, spring has long been an inspiration for artists. From Bach's ecstatic trumpets announcing "Et resurrexit!" to Copland's famous portrait of the blooming mountainsides of Appalachia, this playlist takes us through 300 years of spring celebrations. Featuring some of Lincoln Center's most beloved artists, including The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, the New York Philharmonic, the Metropolitan Opera, Wynton Marsalis, Les Arts Florissants, the Takács Quartet, Joshua Bell, Mark Padmore, Pretty Yende, and many others.
