THOUSANDS OF NEW YORK AREA PUBLIC SCHOOL CHILDREN HAVE LITTLE OR NO ACCESS TO THE ARTS. Lincoln Center Institute for the Arts in Education provides these young people with world-class performances and access to museums—accompanied by in-depth, hands-on classroom study of the artworks seen. Students connect what they learn about and through the arts to all academic subjects and to their lives.
WE NEED YOUR HELP to take our programs to public schools and to conduct national and international teacher education. Head of the Class is Lincoln Center Institute’s membership program for people who care about the future of the arts and education. As a Head of the Class member, you’ll be supporting arts programs for young people who might otherwise have little or no access to the arts. To thank you, Lincoln Center Institute offers special benefits, including…
- invitations to our Making Connections series, pairing Institute repertory with presentations on how we work with young people;
- opportunities to participate in special workshops and performances; and
- Lincoln Center area shopping and parking discounts.
