NYFW presents Adrian Alicea’s The Seed of Adrian, featuring sixty models adorned in his latest designs from the spring/summer 2020 collection. This provocative and multisensory show includes performers who represent the many cultures the award-winning designer was exposed to while touring the globe as a model, including his deep roots in Puerto Rico. Enjoy the explosive lyrics of local Harlem rap kings Chapo da Vinci and OG OG, music from DJ Lyrrad, and the glamour and swinging sound of 1940s jazz band Fleur Seule. Also, Bucket and Birkin-inspired Adrian Alicea bags will be available for sale right off the runway.
After the fashion show concludes, feel free to mingle over drinks and take pictures with Adrian Alicea while Fleur Seule continues its diverse repertoire—including classic chanson, jazz standards, swing music, bossa nova, salsa, and more.
Come early for a DJ set, starting 30 minutes before the runway show.
