The singer-songwriter Mon Laferte presents a collaboration with the Oaxacan collective Mujeres del Viento Florido. The stage will be filled with Latin American female artists in a very special presentation, composed of a repertoire of traditional Oaxacan songs as well as songs from Mon Laferte's discography.

The orchestra Mujeres del Viento Florido, which will perform for the first time outside of Mexico, is committed to the interpretation and study of traditional Mexican music for women from indigenous communities. Meanwhile, the recent nomination of Laferte's album, 1940 Carmen, for "Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album" at the Grammys, is a sure sign that her sophisticated blend of indie rock, bolero, electropop and cumbia has captivated U.S. audiences in the same way it has enraptured the rest of the Americas.
