Jazz at Lincoln Center’s 2017 Annual Fundraising Gala is a one-night-only centennial celebration of the First Lady of Song – Ella Fitzgerald. . This year’s gala will be hosted by the one and only Harry Connick, Jr., and some of the greatest vocalists alive will take the stage to honor Ella. Featured artists include Renée Fleming, Roberta Gambarini, Diana Krall, Alison Krauss, Marilyn Maye, Audra McDonald, Camille Thurman, Kenny Washington, and Cécile McLorin Salvant in duet with pianist Sullivan Fortner. This remarkable group of musicians represents the vast history and future of jazz, and it’s one of the best lineups of vocalists to ever share a stage. The show will be anchored by New York’s House Band – the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis. We’ll also be presenting the Jazz at Lincoln Center Award for Artistic Excellence to NEA Jazz Master, tenor saxophone titan Benny Golson. This star-studded show is one of the biggest events in town, and proceeds help to enable thousands of unique performances, education programs, and resources produced by Jazz at Lincoln Center every year.
Please note that there are no exchanges available for this event.
Tickets and tables packages are also available for the gala post-concert dinner celebration held in the Appel Room and Ertegun Atrium. For more information, email Special Events at [email protected] or call 212-258-9980.
