Daisy Jopling’s Awakening program is composed by Daisy Jopling, Michael Feigenbaum and Brian Taylor, and orchestrated by Dean Fransen. This modern and accessible musical program blends traditional orchestral music aesthetics with a wide array of contemporary musical styles spanning from playful gypsy sounds and introspective jazz moods to celebratory gospel grooves and well-established rock songs.
Through her powerful violin and genuinely sparkling personality Daisy Jopling presents each piece as a touchstone along the path of personal discovery and universal transformation that people of all ages and cultures can relate to.
The Global Music Academy Orchestra is an educational ensemble organized by the Daisy Jopling Foundation consisting of hand-picked professional mentors who rehearse and perform alongside developing young students of the highest caliber from Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, Long Island, Westchester and Putnam Counties.
The Awakening program will also feature rhythm specialist Michael Feigenbaum, Broadway vocal sensations Justin Sargent and Joni Blondell, the Plattsburgh State Gospel Choir, and members of the Hendrick Hudson High School Treble Makers and the Mahopac High School Chorus.
