The Program

The forces binding humanity, landscape, and the cosmos are on display in this powerful program from Australian artist Lynette Wallworth and Belgian organist Bernard Foccroulle. Evocative video projections of the natural world accompany four centuries of organ music, from Bach and Buxtehude to Messiaen and Gubaidulina, in this poignant reflection on a world vacillating between shadow and illumination.

“Foccroulle’s playing is intelligent and imaginative, and Wallworth’s images combine intimacy, awe and sensitive composition.”
– Sydney Morning Herald
“An artistic meeting of opposites in every sense. Sound and vision, black and white, life and death, movement and stasis, flood and drought, hopes and fears.”
– Limelight Magazine
