Join the Mark Morris Dance Group for a special performance of Mark Morris’ Words with live musical accompaniment. Set to Felix Mendelssohn’s Songs Without Words, the work demonstrates what Morris “can do with a simple dance vocabulary and a phenomenally diverse grasp of dance musicality.” (The New York Times). The performance will be preceded by a conversation with the dancers, who will provide insight into Morris’ choreography and lead a seated movement session.
