This program embraces the astonishing range of classic and contemporary music in Jerome Robbins’ ballets. The infectiously joyous Interplay, a lighthearted game of one-upmanship, is followed by In the Night, a series of delicately crafted pas de deux infused with the mystery of romantic attraction. N.Y. Export: Opus Jazz, an early example of the sneaker ballet, concludes with the cool jazz moves of popular dance from the 1950s.
