September 15-16, 2015 – Second Annual Lincoln Center Global Exchange
Art can be a powerful tool for meeting the world’s most immediate challenges. The goal of the Global Exchange is to inspire the leaders in the room to use art as a tool for innovation and impact in their own work, and to invest in the arts.
In the Opening Performance, our audience saw evidence of creative thinking across cultures, disciplines, and time and experienced the social impact artists make when they transcend form and tradition, and define new ways to express what it means to be human. Representing five continents, their stories are as diverse as the challenges that face their communities.
The 2016 Daytime Conference program focused on two themes: (1) Art X Conflict: How art can heal the wounds and divisions of conflict, and (2) Art X Environment: How art can help us build a more sustainable world, as well as the importance of philanthropy in advancing this work.
