Mike Birbiglia's 'Don't Think Twice' opens July 29 at the Film Society of Lincoln Center: filmlinc.org/newreleases
Long-running comedy group The Commune has been the big fish at their New York improv theater. But when they learn that the venue is shutting down and that one of its members has been cast on a hit TV show, they start to realize that not everyone is going to make it after all. As he did in his acclaimed debut, Sleepwalk with Me, writer-director-actor Mike Birbiglia captures universal human experiences that happen in the lives of professional funny people. By turns honest, insightful, and hilarious, Don’t Think Twice is a refreshing ensemble comedy that also stars Keegan-Michael Key, Gillian Jacobs, Kate Micucci, Chris Gethard, and Tami Sagher. A Film Arcade release.
