As the film industry grapples with destabilization, filmmakers are looking to expansive and supportive spaces to create. Join us for an evening with Black filmmakers centering community and exploring the collaborative possibilities of filmmaking. Our short-film program will feature work that embraces, challenges, and plays with form and the imagination.

Join us for a conversation moderated by the program curator Nikkia Moulterie, featuring the directors and our special guest Bina48, a humanoid robot powered by AI and the only social robot inspired, created, and programmed with mind files from an African American woman, Bina Rothblatt. We will discuss the creative process, finding your tribe, and whether Artificial Intelligence fits into the journey.
