Opening up the West Side of Lincoln Center

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Lincoln Center West Initiative opens up the Amsterdam Avenue side of Lincoln Center’s campus, creating a more welcoming edge on the west side. The new design incorporates extensive community feedback from an ongoing participatory process that began in 2023. Features include: welcoming entrance that dramatically opens up Amsterdam Avenue to neighbors approaching from the west; community park featuring a lawn, water feature, tree groves and garden for public enjoyment; and new, world-class amphitheater that will improve artist and audience experiences. Where artists and audiences connect

Be moved by the arts this Fall

Get closer to the extraordinary artistic legacy of San Juan Hill with our annual Legacies of San Juan Hill festival celebrating the community and luminaries who shaped this storied neighborhood, where Lincoln Center now stands. And discover new talent at the Festival of Firsts, spotlighting performers boldly exploring new artistic territory.

Encounters that bring you closer, all season long

Each Lincoln Center Presents series and festival delves deeply into one art form, one body of work, or one theme through performance. This year, we invite you to spend the season with groundbreaking trumpeter, composer, educator, and visionary founder of Jazz at Lincoln Center, Wynton Marsalis. And in January, we bring dance home with NYC-based choreographers at the Lincoln Center Contemporary Dance Festival. Explore all Series and Festivals.
