Kit Armstrong, “a brilliant pianist” (New York Times) and protégé of the legendary Alfred Brendel, illuminates Bach’s intricate Goldberg Variations with “pianistic abilities that are simply unheard of” (Süddeutsche Zeitung). Armstrong’s live recording of the monumental variations was named Instrumental Choice of December 2017 by BBC Music Magazine in a performance that “highlight[ed] the work’s lyricism” and demonstrated a “refinement and a maturity beyond his years.”
