The Program

Pianist Paul Lewis’s late-night recitals in the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse have become an essential Lincoln Center experience. For this Mostly Mozart Festival appearance, Lewis brings his signature eloquence and “pianistic depth” (Guardian, U.K.) to three Haydn sonatas. Complimentary wine and sparkling skyline views from the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse complete this perfect night of music.

“Astonishing...the penthouse’s intimacy made his interpretation newly disquieting and moving...The effect—and the realization that Mr. Lewis had so completely considered each work in its own right—was breathtaking.”
– New York Times
“Eloquent and restrained, this British pianist has provided some of New York’s most memorable concerts in recent years.”
– New York Times
