Madrid’s Teatro Real — Royal Opera of Spain is embarking on a new tour of the US, marking its second visit to the Lincoln Center.An unforgettable evening featuring Joaquín Rodrigo’s famous Concierto de Aranjuez, performed by master guitarist Juan Manuel Cañizares. Works by Manuel de Falla will also be performed with soprano Adriana González. Nikolay Rimsky-Korsakov’s legendary Scheherazade will bring the programme to a close, with the Orchestra of the Teatro Real conducted by Gustavo Gimeno.Where artists and audiences connect

Opening up the West Side of Lincoln Center
The Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Lincoln Center West Initiative opens up the Amsterdam Avenue side of Lincoln Center’s campus, creating a more welcoming edge on the west side. The new design incorporates extensive community feedback from an ongoing participatory process that began in 2023. Features include: welcoming entrance that dramatically opens up Amsterdam Avenue to neighbors approaching from the west; community park featuring a lawn, water feature, tree groves and garden for public enjoyment; and new, world-class amphitheater that will improve artist and audience experiences.
