In addition to the regular season of the Chamber Music Society, Starr Theater, with its warm wood veneers, has been the site of events ranging from television’s Food Network Upfronts to a Film Society Chaplin Award hosted by Barbara Streisand, a performance by legendary gospel singer Mavis Staples, and virtuoso concerts on its cathedral-sized, Swiss-made pipe organ. 

Accessible through automated doors at the box office entrance on Broadway, south of 66th Street.

Accessible Seating
There are wheelchair locations throughout the theater. Seats must be removed to accommodate a wheelchair. Please call one day prior to arrange for seat to be removed: 212.875.5050.

Wheelchair Loans

Assistance for Guests Who Are Deaf or Have Hearing Loss
Assistive listening devices available for hard-of-hearing patrons at the head usher’s desk. For headsets and loops, a major credit card or driver’s license is needed as a security deposit.

Assistance for Guests who are Blind or Have Low Vision
Braille and large-type programs available for all Chamber Music Society and Great Performers concerts. The programs may be obtained at the PSPD Resource Information Tables located on street level in the Morgan Stanley Lobby.

Men and women’s restrooms accessible on lower level Orchestra right. Unisex Restroom accessible on lobby level (street level), inside ramp left of the box office windows.
