2026 marks The Greater Westchester Youth Orchestras Association (GWYOA) 75th Anniversary. The GWYOA is a not-for-profit organization providing an excellent opportunity in advanced instrumental music performance. GWYOA consists of three orchestras comprised of student musicians from Westchester County, NY and the surrounding counties of the tri-state area: The Westchester Elementary Strings (grades 4-6), The Westchester Junior Strings (grades 7-9), and The Westchester Youth Symphony (strings grades 10-12; winds, brass, and percussion 9 – 12). The orchestras are under the leadership of conductors Bernard Klinger, Jacqueline Stern, and Kathleen C. Feldman, respectively. All three orchestras will perform.

In celebration of the United States Semiquincentennial, the 2026 Spring Gala Concert features works by composers woven into the American musical landscape including Adler, Copeland, Dvorak, Ekford, Ford, Grofe, Higdon, Joplin, Monocayo, Price, and Vivaldi.
