Join us for a free in-person verbal description workshop, designed for guests who are blind or have low vision, of Ebony M. Burton’s Ultramarine, a new public sculpture project on Lincoln Center's Hearst Plaza.

Using a combination of new and reclaimed materials, Ultramarine's abstract figures, presented with accompanying soundscape, explore value and accessibility, reappropriating vision through a contemplation on this rarified shade of blue. Led by educator Laura Sloan, this workshop will incorporate verbal description, touch objects, and discussion.

This event will be held outdoors, with seating available throughout the workshop.
