Artist Marcos Lutyens, in collaboration with Global Scrub Choir, presents a poignant art installation honoring lives lost to COVID-19 and supporting the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Pandemic Accord. This multifaceted project includes a quilt installation made in collaboration with Rightfully Sewn, a nonprofit that works with refugees in Kansas City, complemented by an augmented reality display of floating roses representing fallen medical workers. The Global Scrub Choir provides musical accompaniment, creating an immersive experience.

This AR experience uses Snapchat to display on your phone. Consider downloading Snapchat before arriving for a smoother experience.

Visitors can engage with the performance installation through personal reflection, live music with the Global Scrub Choir, and the augmented reality visuals that will rise out of the map-of-the-world quilt. The tribute is part of the WHO Healing Arts Program for the 78th United Nations General Assembly.

Supporters are encouraged to join the #PandemicAccord global initiative for pandemic preparedness and response. To learn more, click here.
