Unsound New York

Constantly shifting and always surprising, the Kraków-based Unsound Festival challenges the norms of contemporary composition with unique staging, unlikely instrumentation, and unbound passions. Unsound performers draw liberally and without prejudice from the traditions of jazz, folk, electronic, experimental, and chamber music, providing insight into the rich future of radical sound. For the Unsound New York concert series, audiences can expect the unexpected at unforgettable performances with North American premieres—including performances by Hildur Guðnadóttir, Sam Slater, and The Caretaker—pushing the boundaries of the avant-garde.
