Join leading artists, researchers, and policy leaders in a series of conversations exploring the intersection of the arts and healing, presented as part of the Jameel Arts & Health Lab's global Healing Arts initiative in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO). The third and final panel analyzes the music of composer Robert Schumann, whose music provides an example of how artistic output may reveal and reflect the mental states of arts practitioners. This conversation will be moderated by Dr. Nisha Sajnani, who serves as the co-director of the Jameel Arts & Health Lab (JAHL), established in collaboration with the WHO, New York University (NYU) Steinhardt, Culturunners, and Community Jameel, where she leads the JAHL-Lancet global series on the health benefits of the arts. Nisha is the founder of Arts & Health at NYU, director of the program in drama therapy and chair of the NYU Creative Arts Therapies Consortium. Panelists to be announced at a future date.
