The 2018–19 season of our ¡VAYA! 63 series at the David Rubenstein Atrium continues Friday, March 15, with Quintero's Salsa Project, made up of cousins Roberto and Luisito Quintero, who blend New York City salsa and classic rhythms from their native Venezuela to produce a fresh, irresistible sound.

In advance of the show, ¡VAYA! 63 co-creator (and fellow Venezuelan) Carlos Chirinos curated a playlist that represents the classic Venezuelan Afro-Latin sound.

Carlos Chirinos is Director of the NYU Music and Social Change Lab and co-creator of the ¡VAYA! 63 series at the David Rubenstein Atrium.
