Join us for the premiere of Lincoln Center’s first ever poet-in-residence Mahogany L. Browne's poetry short: The Weight of What Is. This poem, with video design by Jive Poetic, is a tribute to the insistent and glorious work of being. The Weight is asking the listener to revere their next utterance, intention, and step as their own life’s work—or as a movement toward’s a more encompassing, empathetic, and loving planet.

Beginning in July 2021, Mahogany L. Browne has curated monthly virtual and in-person events in a residency entitled “We Are The Work.” This project is the final work of the series.
