According to IRS guidelines and DAF sponsors rules, donations from DAFs cannot be used to pay—neither partially or wholly—for fundraising events/tickets/tables, or memberships if they include goods or benefits that aren’t fully tax-deductible. However, if you decline all goods and benefits, you can use a DAF donation for payment. Per Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts' Gift Acceptance Policy, it is not Lincoln Center's responsibility to secure independent legal, tax, financial, and estate advice for any gifts to the organization. LCPA will not act as advisor to any donor in any of these respects.
