The Children's Orchestra Society (COS) presents its 32nd Annual Discovery Gala. The Young Symphonic Ensemble (YSE) opens with Rossini’s William Tell Overture, followed by special guest artist Sirena Huang as the soloist in Sibelius’s Violin Concerto. The second half features back-to-back Dvořák, with COS Senior Discovery Competition Winner Ruide Roger Ma performing the first movement of the composer's Cello Concerto. The YSE concludes with the New World Symphony. Led by Artistic & Music Director Michael Dadap; and conductors Yoon Sang Timothy Cho, Adrián Gutiérrez, & Kevin Shue.
