Presented in association with Brasil Summerfest

For the past 13 years, Brasil Summerfest has brought the music and flavor of Brasil to New York City with an array of audio, arts, and culinary events that highlight the beauty and diversity of South America’s biggest exporter of cultural excellence. The festival returns to Lincoln Center for a run of performances, including this event featuring the Latin GRAMMY nominee, composer and singer/songwriter Rogê. A 20 year veteran and standard bearer of the modern música popular brasileira scene with duet albums in collaboration with samba legends like Arlindo Cruz and Seu Jorge, Rogê recently stepped away from Brasilian stardom, moving to Los Angeles and releasing his 2023 album, Curyman, on a U.S. label. That LP is more of a refinement than a remaking of Rogê's enchanting, spirited sound, imbued with raucous funk and the heartbreaking melancholy of saudade. Rogê's headlining Lincoln Center debut concert represents a rare opportunity to see him perform live on the east coast.
