“This summer, Lincoln Center invites you to experience the healing and rejuvenating power of the arts. Whether it’s rejoicing the night away on the dance floor, reclaiming rituals hindered by the pandemic, or moments for collective remembering, we offer this warm welcome to come together after so much time apart.” Shanta Thake

Rejoice. Reclaim. Remember.

Rejoice and come together after such a challenging period

Outdoor social dance is back! Get swept away with salsa, swing, bachata, merengue, soul, and more—all under a 10-foot disco ball at The Oasis. If you're planning a fun-filled (and sun-filled) family day, check out our FREE concerts, workshops, and special events for kids, teens, and families. This June, celebrate LGBTQIA+ Pride at the Mini Kiki Ball, Criminal Queerness Festival, and ULTRA PRIDE!! dance party.

Reclaim the traditions and rituals that were postponed

Couples and lovers of New York, register beginning June 12 to participate in Celebrate LOVE: A (Re)Wedding, a group wedding celebration. Also in June, a site-specific, evening-long performance sweeps across the campus in honor of Juneteenth; and in July, an immersive theater event, QUINCE en la Plaza, welcomes guests to experience the festive rite of passage.

Remember our losses and collectively heal through art

Summer for the City honors and celebrates the lives of iconic individuals across the arts including James Baldwin and Greg Tate. Two versions of Mozart’s Requiem offer moments for remembrance: Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra and Requiem: Fire in the Air of the Earth. On June 11, a Jazz at Lincoln Center Second Line celebrates lives lost and offers space to mourn.

Health and safety

At this time, face coverings and proof of COVID-19 vaccination will not be required for outdoor events; however, face coverings are welcome and we encourage everyone to complete their primary vaccination series and get boosted before attending.

For indoor events at the Atrium, Rose Theater, and Alice Tully Hall, proof that the final dose of primary COVID-19 vaccination series was administered at least 14 days before entry is required. Face coverings are required as well. At this time, children under 5 will not be admitted into indoor events. Learn more »
