Presented in collaboration with The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts

Lincoln Center’s free Storytime programming returns at Summer for the City—and, due to continued popular demand, we have scheduled two readings every Wednesday! Curated by The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts—which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year—Storytime events feature a children's book reading accompanied by live music, dance, or theater, engaging kids of all ages. Artist, dancer, and educator Careitha Davis, whose practice reflects her deep connection to the power of dance traditions and rituals in the arts, joins us for this children’s Storytime. She reads Dance Of Colors: Caribbean Rhythms And Family Traditions by Sierrah Chavis, an illustrated book uplifting the celebration of diversity, love, and the rich tapestry that defines Caribbean culture, specifically the West Indies.
