Summer for the City’s Silent Disco returns to NYC’s largest outdoor dance floor underneath our ten-foot disco ball. On July 5, the groundbreaking DJ Perly—Puerto Rican, Bronx-born turntablist, DJ, and producer—brings her passion, skills, and musical archive straight to your high-fidelity headphones. She is known for her dynamic performances that showcase her deep musical knowledge and ability to manipulate music with precision and flair. Perly has competed in over 20+ DJ battles and gained widespread recognition and made history in 2017 by becoming the first woman to win the DMC U.S. Finals DJ Battle, and again in 2022 becoming the first and only woman to win 2 DMC U.S. National titles. She has been honored with the title "Undisputed Queen of the 1's & 2's" by Hip-Hop legends Grandmaster Caz and Melle Mel; and she is also a proud member of the world-famous Heavy Hitters DJ Crew.
