The World Premiere of Stephen Sondheim’s richest score with new orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick, Sondheim’s orchestrator of choice for more than 50 years. Mr. Tunick will conduct the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, an ensemble of 53, nearly double the size of the original.

The all-star cast includes international opera star Susan Graham; Tony, Emmy, and Grammy recipient Cynthia Erivo; four time Oscar nominee Marsha Mason; Tony Award winners Ruthie Ann Miles and Shuler Hensley; with Kerstin Anderson, Jason Gotay, Addie Harrington, Jin Ha, Jonathan Christopher, Ellie Fishman, Samantha Hill, Andrea Jones-Sojola, Ross Lekites, and Tony nominee Ron Raines.

Director John Doyle has masterfully adapted Hugh Wheeler’s book.

Originally produced and directed on Broadway by Harold Prince, A Little Night Music is a musical adaptation of Ingmar Bergman’s film Smiles of a Summer Night.
