Welcome to David Geffen Hall, the home of the New York Philharmonic and a cultural home for New York. The design of the Hall is centered around a deep focus on welcoming visitors and audiences to Lincoln Center and expanding the possibilities of what a concert hall can be. Thousands of square feet of public space are open daily to the public; accessibility features are offered throughout; concerts and community events are open to passersby from 65th Street and Columbus Avenue; and select performances from inside the concert hall are streamed live, free of charge. Whether you're returning to David Geffen Hall or visiting for the first time, we look forward to welcoming you!

Reimagining the concert-going experience
Home to the New York Philharmonic, the Wu Tsai Theater—named in honor of Clara Wu Tsai and Joe Tsai—is designed with optimized sightlines, resulting in an intimate relationship between audience and performer. Welcoming visitors to Lincoln Center at-large
Thousands of square feet of public space for diverse cultural performance and community uses has been created—all free and open to the public daily. Building a stronger community together
Completed two years early, the new David Geffen Hall represents a statement of faith in New York and its artistic community, while delivering jobs and economic development at a crucial time for the city. The renovation supports $600 million in ongoing economic development and 6,000 jobs, with 42% participation from minority and women-owned businesses and 51% of the workforce derived from underrepresented communities. Kolomiiets: Suite from The Mothers of Kherson

The Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra returns to Lincoln Center for a performance of Verdi's Requiem, one of the great works of memorial art, in honor of the Ukrainian people and in the hope of a better future. The orchestra will be joined by the Chorus of the Metropolitan Opera and a quartet of exceptional soloists: soprano Ailyn Pérez, mezzo soprano Natalie Lewis, tenor René Barbera, and bass Soloman Howard. The concert will open with the US premiere of Suite from “The Mothers of Kherson” by acclaimed Ukrainian composer Maxim Kolomiiets, a moving tribute to the Ukrainian women who made a 3,000-mile journey behind enemy lines to rescue their children forcibly detained by Russian authorities.
The Ukrainian Freedom Orchestra was formed in 2022 by Canadian Ukrainian conductor Keri-Lynn Wilson in direct response to Russia’s full-scale invasion and bears witness to an invincible country and to a culture that will never be silenced.
