Join leading artists, researchers, and policy leaders in a series of conversations exploring the intersection of the arts and healing, presented as part of the Jameel Arts & Health Lab's global Healing Arts initiative in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO). The second panel explores the ways in which arts attendance—ranging from museums and concerts to performances—may provide benefits towards social connection and wellbeing. This conversation will be moderated by Dr. Nisha Sajnani, who serves as the co-director of the Jameel Arts & Health Lab (JAHL), established in collaboration with the WHO, New York University (NYU) Steinhardt, Culturunners, and Community Jameel, where she leads the JAHL-Lancet global series on the health benefits of the arts. Nisha is the founder of Arts & Health at NYU, director of the program in drama therapy and chair of the NYU Creative Arts Therapies Consortium. Panelists to be announced at a future date.
