Gather your loved ones for an electrifying Roda de Samba with the New York–based Brazilian ensemble Regional Samaúma. Following their 2025 choro-focused appearance, the group returns to Lincoln Center with a vibrant tribute to samba, one of Brazil’s most enduring musical traditions. Rooted in Afro-Brazilian community gatherings of early 20th-century Rio de Janeiro, the roda is more than a performance—it’s a shared cultural experience where music, movement, and connection come to life. With guitars, cavaquinho, percussion, and communal singing, Regional Samaúma brings the spirit of Rio’s samba circles to New York City, inviting audiences to clap, sing, dance, and join the circle.
