Originally formed in Puerto Rico in 1996, the Latin GRAMMY Award winners and GRAMMY Award nominees Cultura Profética are a pioneering and multi-million selling band whose best known work represents an innovative and fantastically popular Latin take on roots reggae music. They are the first Spanish-language artists to release their inaugural album on The Wailers' legendary Jamaican record label, Tuff Gong. Drawing from a foundation in bossa nova, tango, jazz, and salsa, Cultura Profética's lyrics regularly engage socio-political and ecological issues—including Latin American identity, corruption of power structures, and environmental conservation—along with the universal message of love. For their debut headline performance at Lincoln Center, founding members Willy Rodríguez, Eliut González, and Omar Silva join the rest of the current lineup of Cultura Profética for an unforgettable summer night of sweet songs and romantic slow jams from across the group's acclaimed discography.

Run time: approximately 2 hours
