About the Educator

Laura Sloan is the Education Manager at Queens Museum. In her role, Laura is continually working to advance accessibility projects and initiatives across departments. Drawing on ten years of experience as an arts educator, she has managed and facilitated programs for families, children, teens, and adults with disabilities at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and the Rubin Museum of Art. She also recruited and trained new museum educators. Laura completed her M.A. in Museum Studies from The City College of New York and is interested in ways that the arts can create engaging and welcoming spaces.
